A reading room
for AI learners
Latentry is a small, library-style online school in Malaysia. Browse written readings, short exercises, and structured programmes on Python and applied AI — at a pace that suits a working schedule.
Three ways to read with Latentry
Each path is shaped around the same reading-room model — written materials, short reflection tasks, and a clear scope. Choose what fits your schedule and intent.
Reading Room Pass
A standalone pass to the school's reading room of introductory AI modules, including written readings, short reflection prompts, and a moderated discussion thread. Self-paced, with no scheduled sessions.
- Introductory AI module library
- Reflection prompts per reading
- Moderated discussion thread
- Fully self-paced access
Guided Reading Cohort
A twelve-week guided reading cohort working through a curated path on Python and applied AI exercises. Includes weekly live sessions, a course reader, and written feedback on submitted exercises.
- 12-week structured reading path
- Weekly live reading sessions
- Python & applied AI exercises
- Written feedback on submissions
Library Programme
A nine-month library programme combining structured reading, project milestones, and mentor reviews. Participants complete a steady portfolio across the school's reading paths. Educational in scope and does not constitute a formal qualification.
- 9-month structured programme
- Project milestones & mentor reviews
- Portfolio across reading paths
- Mentor feedback at each milestone
What makes this reading room different
Curated, not overwhelming
Each module is carefully selected and arranged — no sprawling video libraries, no filler content. Just focused reading material suited to working learners.
Pace that fits your week
Materials are written, not lecture-heavy. You can read during a lunch break, revisit a section in the evening, and pick up again without losing your place.
Written feedback, not just grades
In cohort and programme paths, submitted exercises receive written responses from a reader — specific observations, not just a score or automated check.
Structured paths, not scattered topics
Reading materials follow a logical sequence — foundations before application, concepts before code. Each path has a clear start and a visible endpoint.
A place to discuss, not just consume
Every path includes access to a moderated discussion thread where learners can raise questions and exchange notes with others working through the same material.
Malaysia-based, locally accessible
Latentry is based in Subang Jaya, Selangor. Pricing is in Ringgit, support responds in Malaysian time, and the school has a physical address for those who prefer direct contact.

Questions about the reading room
What is a reading-room model of learning?
Rather than video lectures and timed quizzes, Latentry organises learning around written modules — readings, short exercises, and discussion threads. The format suits people who absorb ideas more easily through reading than through watching, and who want the flexibility to revisit material without rewinding a video.
Do I need a programming background to start?
The Reading Room Pass is designed for those with little or no prior experience — it begins with foundational AI concepts explained in plain language. The Guided Reading Cohort introduces Python from the ground up alongside applied exercises. The Library Programme assumes some comfort with reading code, though not necessarily writing it fluently.
How much time should I set aside each week?
The Reading Room Pass is fully self-paced — some learners work through it in a few weeks, others over a few months. The Guided Cohort works well with around four to six hours per week. The Library Programme is designed for a steady eight to ten hours weekly across nine months, including milestone work and mentor review sessions.
Will I receive a certificate or qualification?
Latentry is an educational school, not an accrediting body. Learners who complete the Library Programme receive a completion record for their own reference, but this is not a formal qualification or accredited credential. The value is in the knowledge and portfolio work accumulated along the path.
What are the payment options?
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment details are confirmed after an initial enquiry — the team will walk through available methods, which include online transfer. For the Library Programme, a staged payment arrangement may be discussed upon request.
How is my personal information handled?
Latentry collects only the details needed to manage your enrolment and respond to enquiries. Information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. You can review the full data handling approach in the Privacy Policy.
